Raid 1 in Windows XP Pro ?

can windows XP Pro support hardware raid 1 ?

i found few article of how to hack windows system files and make windows XP
support software raid,
but i don't like that kind of ideas, i'm planning to buy a normal server
with hardware raid,
will windows XP Pro able to support it ?

I'm no raid expert, but I have a raid 0 drive with my XP machine. You can
setup a software raid without any "hacking" using disk manager. However if
you plan on using a hardware raid controller, you just need to install the
raid controller drivers. I haven't tried this, but I believe if you plan on
installing windows onto a raid drive you need to make a raid controller disk
and install it when setup tells you to "press __ to install a third party
raid controller."

It will support any RAID that is done in hardware. Hardware RAID controllers are the *best*
way to go becuase the OS sees one virtual hard disk not an array of hard disks.
