RAID 0

kokoiski

Hi,

I have two 40 gig IDE hardisk and would like to implement
a RAID 0 the primary hardisk that I would like to mirror
has two partition one for the OS and the other one for the
data. Is it possible to mirror the primary disk 0 to disk
1 if disk 0 has 2 partition?

Thank you in advance.

Stupid question, but isn't RAID0 stiping w/o parity and not mirroring??
I thought mirroring was RAID1

Also, if we are talking about software RAID, I thought you couldn't
stripe the boot volume.
