My first raid setup and it is already gone south.
It is RAID 0, hardware controller, two maxtors of 120GB SATA in a
strip setup.
One disk seem to ave issues. They are both detected in raid setup,
though... one is offline.
Upon boot up it says that ary 1 is offline and then it just doesn't
start:
"Problem is detected with array 1"
Then it proceeds and displays:
"Non-system disk or disk error"
If I enter raid setup (FastBuild Utility 2.01 form Promise tech.) and
check the "view drive assignments", there are both drives present but
the first one's assignment is "Free".
And if I try to rebuild array, this is displayed:
"Recovery is not applicable"

Is there anything I can do?
How do I rebuild system or at least get the data back, please?
