Radeon in full dos screen wrapping problem

Newly arisen problem.

If I boot 98SE and go to a dos prompt, I get screen wrapping and/or double
lines. New problem after playing around with drivers on dual display setup
etc.

Is there an easy fix?

I suspect it's some old known problem.

Which driver version do you have? In the release notes of the new
Catalyst 4.3 ATI mentions a fix for fullscreen dos sessions.

I don't see any mention of anything in the file

wxp-w2k-catalyst-7-991-040224m-013831c.txt

which I believe is part of the Cat 4.3 package.

Mind giving specifics please?
