Radeon 9250 supports widescreen resolutions?

I have a Sapphire Radeon 9250 AGP and a Radeon 7000 PCI video cards and
want to buy a widescreen LCD (not bought yet) to replace my aging CRT.
I want to know if either of these two graphic cards supports widescreen
resolutions (1680 x 1050 WSXGA+ or 1440 x 900 WXGA+). I have played
with the Settings under "Display" but don't see these resolutions
listed. I have latest driver installed on a Win XP Pro machine.

Typically, the driver only lists resolutions the monitor
claims to support. I've got an original Radeon AIW card that
came right up in 1920x1080 when I plugged it into my HD
monitor.
