Qurb add in

Outlook showed a message "serious error the last time qurb outlook add in was
opened". It asks whether I want to disenable it. I have tried all options but
am thoroughly confused and since then Outlook runs dreadfully slow or refuses
to open. I cant find/understand help anywhere. I am a retiree in a remote
area and have difficulty in accessing technicians in major towns. Thank you
for any help.

You'll need to disable the add-in. It might be named Qurb or something
associated with that application.

Go to Tools | Options | Other tab | Advanced Options .. com add-ins. See if
it is listed there and remove the check next to it if it is checked.

Also check if it is listed in Go to Tools | Options | Other tab | Add-in
manager.

I hope the locations above are right - I don't have Outlook 2003 running to
check.

Do you think you really need Qurb installed? I would have thought that if it
was disabled then it won't slow down Outlook but if it is then it might be
an idea to uninstall it from the Windows Control Panel altogether. Qurb
might not be what is slowing Outlook down. It could just be coincidental. If
you decide to keep Qurb then look for an updated version that might not
cause issues with Outlook.
