quickview

Earlier versions of windows had a program called quickview
You could right click on most files (e.g.,word,excel,some graphics)and view
the contents (It wasn't pretty byt it was a way of quickly seeing what a
file contained.

I can't find it in XP Home.
Does it exist somewhere? All of the freeware/shareware viewer programs seem
to be for graphic files.
Thanks

Quikview doesn't work on XP. It available in the Win 95 downloads section.

Word can open documents faster than quikview (since 2000).

Consider getting QuickView Plus. It worked the same as
QuickView...but was much better.

I'm still using version 5.1. There's newer out there...but I don't
like the way the newer versions work.

If you've got the bucks, PowerDesk will do the same thing. Highlight
a file...and you can read its contents.

Good luck.

Hope ya'll have a nice weekend...
