QuickTime uses 100% CPU

Hi,

I've got the new QuickTime (7.2) installed as part of the Itunes upgrade,
and QT acts really strange: as soon as I open it the CPU rises to 100% even
if I don't do anything, and no other programme is open. And to get access to
"preferences", e.g., takes 3-4 minutes cause of the computer running wild.

What could be the reason for this? I've also installed the DivX Player
recently, apparently with some codecs that QT might use as well. And then
I've insatllet the Azureus Vuze for BitTorrents, that I guess requires quite
a bit of memory.

I've tried to uninstall itunes/qt and install them from scratch again, but
it did not help..
