I quit using Quicktime a long time ago when they started including nag
screens. Is this still the case?

I don't use it under Linux either John.

Anyone able to comment on the windows version?

screens. Is this still the case?

I never notice them, but I hardly use it. Not a lot of options, as I've got
some videos (like animatrix) only in MOV.

Anybody know a freeware that can make QT MOV files into AVI or MPEG1 (so I
can make a video CD)?
