Quickbooks Pro 2007 Payroll with Vista

I can't get payroll updates. Have disabled firewalls, virus, etc. Intuit
tech support hasn't been able to figure it out either. anyone else having
this problem?

It is a permissions issue. Intuit was supposed to have re-written their
stupid program to not require administrative privileges, but perhaps
there is still a problem. You need to contact Intuit.

Thanks, I've been talking to them. Hopefully they can figure out a patch
before payroll time again.

Quickbooks 2007 doesn't need admin rights.

When you go for the payroll updates, what error message do you get?

I get a message that Quickbooks is unable to download updates and will need
to get them from the internet, brings up internet screen, runs the download,
pops back to acct validation and then I get the same error message again.
