Does anyone know how to derive a Quickbooks Timestamp from the system date?

I've tried CInt(Date) however the number seems to appear different to the
one I've exported from quickbooks.

Rumour has it that it's the number of seconds from 1/1/1970. Can anyone
confirm that?

Thanks

Ok, well just for the record, my opinion is that
TIMESTAMP=DateDiff("s", "01/01/1970", Now)

I'm sure there's plenty of people that would wanna know, especially if
you're importing or exporting to/from quickbooks IIF files.

Feel free to pass on to me any other Quickbooks tips. I'd be interested.

Better to handle Quickbooks issues in Quickbook related newsgroups.
People looking for related lore will look there.

Better to keep these Access newsgroups focused on just Access.
