I am a former WordPerfect user going to Word 2007. In WordPerfect I was able
to get a quick view of the document without fully opening it. How is this
done in Word 2007. I have alot of file I need to quickly view and do not
want to open and close each document.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

In Word 2003, Preview view is one of the View options in the File Open
dialog. See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/PreviewPicture.htm. If this
is not available in Word 2007, then you may not have any option unless you
have Windows Vista, which I believe provides thumbnails.

Preview is alive and well in 2007 :)

Thanks for the confirmation, Graham. One of these days I'll get Windows XP
installed and Office 2007 up and running. <g>
