Quick View

Bill M.

I've found that I need QuickView (aka. Quikview.exe)
to see the full location (path) of the files I need to
restore with Norton's UnErase Wizard, but after searching
for it, I've come to realize that it is NOT in my
WINDOWS\System\Viewers folder as I had hoped. In fact,
there is no Viewers folder in my System folder.
I've done a a rather extensive search of
Microsoft.com and found references to it, but have not
found any way to get the darn thing.
I stupidly ran an application that was supposed to
find duplicate files on my computer and give me the
option of selecting and deleting those that I knew to be
dead weight. Instead, it dumped 1600+ files into the
Norton Protected Recycle folder and I now have to go
through those files and restore those that are necessary
manually with the UnErase Wizard. The trouble is that the
dialog that comes up is way to small to view the entire
Original Location name of the files in the Norton
Protected Recycle folder.
HELP for the UnErase Wizard states that I should use
QuickView to see the full Original Location Path, and
without it, I am only able to guess what that location
might be.
I am hoping that there is a simple solution to this.
I may just be to dense to see it.
Please, can anybody out there help me?

Try magnifier in accessories->accessibility
The magnifier has nothing to do with the OP's problem. To the OP, you
can buy Quickview Pro, but I'd suggest doing a System Restore to before
you decided to clean house (and yes, it wasn't a wise thing to do).
Hopefully, this will take care of your problem. Post back if you need
more help.
