Quick question

Does anybody know if CPU coolers designated 'suitable for AMD AM3 processors' work with AMD AM3+ processors?

In other words, is there a difference? I suspect not but it would be nice to have it confirmed.

I ask as I've been browsing some coolers and some mention both AMD3 & AMD3+ while most do not mention both, just AMD3.

The people here don't seem to think there's any measurable difference at all, though I didn't see any official word one way or the other. I would think with the way AMD usually works, that if it fits, it should work.

... the + runs around 5deg cooler, so AMD tell me.

Done the new build this evening and my old cooler fits the new system perfectly. I have a constant CPU temp of 30C. More details in forthcoming build thread, gimme a day or three.
