quick launch icons

My husband and I have separate logon settings, but he
does not have Outlook Express in his quick launch (lower
left corner, by start button). How can I get icons into
this taskbar? I've tried a few things, would just like to
give this back to him, as he was used to using it.

I've tried that, it doesn't work. Is there some setting I
have to change?

try expand launch area to be larger.
unlock - drag bar to right - lock

Thanks, he had his toolbar locked and one of his
shortcuts was invalid. Anyway, problem solved, thanks
again!
