Recently my system crashed after installing some bad ram,
previous to this XP had been running fine, no problems.
After reinstalling windows and all the updates, when XP
tries to let me know an error has occurred in IE or OE or
any other program, the error message only pops up for a
second then disappears. It's very annoying to not to be
able to read why you can't do something. Any ideas? did
I miss an update somewhere, according to the Updater,
I've got everything I need.

Thanks for the attempt, but that isn't where I'm having the problem,
that's for the reboot which was already disabled, this is just when I
get GPF's or something like that. Usually you get the error, read it
and click ok, but for somereason it's almost like the ok button is
automatically being clicked before I can read it. Any other ideas
would be appreciated.
