Questions on replying to emails, etc.

Hi,
I just got Vista and am on satellite. On my other service (dial-up and
Outlook Express) I was able to reply to an email and it would leave the text
of the message I'm replying to in the body of the reply. With Windows Mail
I can't figure out how to get this to happen. It would also automatically
put in the subject of the email I'm replying to. Another feature is that it
would take the addresss directly from my address list as I started to type
the name. In Windows Mail I can't get any of these features to work so I
have to type in the address of anyone I'm emailing. Anyone have any ideas?

Please help... Thanks.

If you want a reply or forward to quote the original message:
Tools, Options, Send, check "Include message in reply."

The other feature is called auto-complete, and it does not
work very well in WinMail. Once you send email to a specific
recipient, the next time it should remember and probably will
auto-complete.
For some people auto-complete works if you type the first three
letters of the contact's name, then hit Tab.

TOOLS menu|OPTIONS|SEND tab
Check the "include message in reply" box

Also look at the REPLY options, under the ADVANCED tab.
