Question regarding Excel Lists

Description:
I am using drop down menu list in Excel to fill data. example, I hav
define a range having 2 values "yes" or "no"

Problem:
I have formatted the list data in different colors but this functio
does not pass that formatting to the destination

I don't think you can pass the formatting but as you are only using 2
values it would be quite easy to use conditional formatting in the
destination cells to achieve what you want.
 
That was just an example, my required list has around 10 options
