Question regarding a line chart y axis value.

Is it possible to have, on a simple line chart, the y axis value on
both left and right at the same time?
Thanks ahead

Hi,

Yes, maybe the easiest way is to select the series and choose Copy. Select
the chart and choose Paste. You have two lines of the same series, but one
is hidden behind the other. Select either line and choose Format, Selected
Data Series, Axis, Secondary Axis.

Select the legend and then the legend entry for one of the two lines and
press del.

Thanks for the info. But I am not sure about the steps to follow. This
is what I did so far
1. Chart
2. Source Data
3. Click the Series Tab
4. Copied the values for Series1
5. Do not know were to go from here when you say: Select
the chart and choose Paste?

Hi,

I suppose you could do it that way, but I meant select the data for the
series in the spreadsheet, say B1:B10 and copy it. Right click the chart and
choose Paste. Then follow the instruction I gave earlier.

Let's see, here is what you do if you choose the Chart, Source Data command:
1. click the Series tab and select your series in the Series box. Highlight
the formula in the Values box and copy it.
2. Click Add
3. Highlight the ={1} in the Values box and Paste
4. Click OK
now proceed as I described to put one of the series on the secondary axis.

If I may be allowed, I have a second question.
On that line chart I get my data from a column. In that column the
data is spread over 365 days but only 1 quantity(number) per week(on
saturday). The rest of the week is blank. So the idea is to have an X
axis label showing 52 weeks and not 365 days. Is it possible?(in other
word how to ignore the blanks)

Sir, I found an answer on the second question by using the: Category
(X) axis label: Using an other column with consecutive number from 1
to 52. Unless you have an other solution I will go with this.
Regards and thank you for your time.
