Hello From Steved

Using the below to do a count on Runciman Motors, at the moment I copy
Runciman Motors down each row and the same with City.

Please is it possible for a Formula to look at Runciman Motors and do a
count or does one need to copy Runciman Motors to every row for a formula to
work.

Runciman Motors Denning LANDSEER
Ford R1114
Hino BX341
Hino RG197
Hino RK176
City Designline Olym MK2-HEV
M.A.N 12/223
M.A.N 16/230
M.A.N 17/223
M.A.N SG220
M.A.N SL200
Thankyou.

I would go with the copy down part.

Easy enough to do.

Select column A and F5>Special>Blanks>OK

in active blank enter = sign then arrow up or point to cell above.

Hit CTRL + ENTER.

With column still selected Copy>Paste Special(in place)>Values>OK>Esc

Stick around, I'm sure someone else will come up with a formula than negates
the need to do this.
