question on digital certificates

hi

i dont know where else can i post this question tht's why
i am posting it here.

i want to create a digital signature for one of the excel
file using selfcert.exe. i would like to know if i can
delete this signature later (before its expiration)

Digital Certificates created with the the self-cert tool can be removed by
going to Tools>Options>Security>Macro Security>Trusted Sources.

Select the DC and "Remove".

To delete DC's from the computer you must use the Microsoft Management
Console(mmc).

Start>Run "mmc"(no quotes)>File>Add/Remove Snap-in.

Add>Certificates>Current User>Add>OK

After the Certificates Snap-in loads expand it and click on "Personal".

Delete any you don't want from the list.

This KB article is for Windows 2000 server, but I found it works for Windows
XP.
