Hi:

When I use Windows XP's search dialog box, the drop-down list for
the 'Look in:' field includes the following.

Local Hard Drives (C:;E:)
TOSHIBA 60GB (C:)
SEAGATE 500GB (E:)

When I select 'SEAGATE 500GB (E:)', I sometimes get search results
that include files located on both drives. In other words, there
are path names under the 'In Folder' column heading that begin with
both E:\ and C:\.

How do I get Windows XP to limit its search to just the E: drive?

Cheers,

~ Mark

Hi Kelly:

Thanks for your response. If I right-click the drive's icon, that
just puts the drive's letter into the 'Look in:' field in XP's
search dialog box. That's the same result that I posted. I tried
it your way, anyhow. When that field says, 'SEAGATE 500GB (E:)', XP
still lists files from both the C: and E: drives.
