Question about items in the control panel

When I go into the control panel/add & remove programs...
There is 31 entries for Microsoft Hot-Fix with item
numbers. Are they all necessary? Can they be deleted
without hurting the other programs in my pc? Thank you
in advance for your reply. Morleycakes

nope - Morleycakes, hunnybun - they stay there and
protect your computer from all the nasties that the
clever blokes at MS weren't able to predict would be
around when they released XP way back in 2000. It's a
growing market and the idea of continuously filling our
hard drives with fix upon fix get to the point that they
bring out a new Operating system called 'Longhorn' - I
kid you not. Take a look at the data in google if you
dont believe me! It's due next year so you needn't worry
yourself too much.

This utility from Doug Knox will remove the hotfix backups but not the hotfix itself
(removes the listing from add/remove and saves space on your hard drive)
Only use this if you are having no problems with your system which might be caused by a hotfix.
