Question about copying CD.

Ok, I'm trying to backup my CD's on my HD so that I don't have to worry
about them getting scratched. Unfortunately, the CD's that are really
scratched won't seem to copy. It copies and has the file name but no sound.
What can I do? Anyone help.

Try cleaning them, or invest in one of those disc resurfacing contraptions.
