Query_Paramater Question

I am trying to run a Cross Tab query feeding from a prior
step select query. The select query contains several
fields including multiple date fields. On one of the date
field, I have a criteria to search for records within a
particular date range, Example: between [Enter DOS from]
and [Enter DOS through].

However when I attempt to run the Cross Tab query, I get
a message "The Microsoft Jet database engine does not
recognize "[Enter DOS from] as a valid field name or
expression.

I have also, tried to enter my criteria in the parameter
box, where I type the parameter and data type. But I get
more records than what I a requesting back. The Cross Tab
query does not complain at this point however I am
returning more records than what I asking for.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

There is a join in the from clause?

Or the date format is not the one you expected ( dd-mm-yyyy instead
of mm-dd-yyyy ) ?

How do you count the expected number of records (versus the number of
returned records ) ?
