Greetings all,

I have 3 problems which i need to solve.

1. I have changed my monitor, and the monitor i am using is smaller and
unable to display the resolution set for the previous monitor, is there a
way to change the res settings? I do not have the old monitor with me.

2. At boot time what key(s) do i press to go into theboot menu?

3. Is it possible to set xp so that all the accounts use the same outlook
express mail account and all see all the messages, irrelevent of which user
downloaded them?

Sincerely
J-M

1. If you boot in VGA mode it should boot up the system
using 640x480 resolution and allow you to see and change
the resolution permenantly.
2. Press F8 before it comes into the Windows XP splash
screen and it will allow you to choose a mode to boot into.
3. You should be able to have each user use the same PST
file with their Outlook Express.

Thank a lot, but could you explain "pst" and how i go about configuring it.
I am using win XP pro if that makes any difference.

Thankful
J-M

Good, decent advice.

This actually depends on what the OP means by a "boot menu." To
choose between various modes of XP (Regular, Safe, Command Prompt,
etc) this is good advice. To access BIOS setup it is not. That will
depend on the manufacturer of the BIOS. What they are after isn't all
that clear.
3. You should be able to have each user use the same PST
file with their Outlook Express.

OE doesn't use PST files. Outlook does. They are not even remotely
the same program.
