Query Wizard not linking tables

Stranger

Hello,

I have an access database that is currently at the DB. Located on the local machines are the .mdb and the .mde. It's only being held off site until we finish development.

anyway, When creating a query in design view everything is fine. It will auto create the link between tables. However, if we use the wizard, it will not create the link. It thinks the tables are not related but they are. Does anyone know what would be causing this issue?

Thanks,

Jack

Hi,

The query designer "suggests" some join, when you add table to the
designer, but the wizard does not, since its interface is built one step at
a time, for the specific goal engaged by the wizard. That is a JOIN rather
than a relationship (data integrity), or a link (data outside the database).

Hoping it may help,
