Query too Complex

On one pc I receive a message "Query Too Complex" On a
2nd with a duplicate copy of the same database, no
problem. Is there a setting I need to adjust on the 1st
pc? Deleting one calculated field eliminates the problem
but kills the purpose of the query.
 
Try explicitly typecasting your calculated field. The error message can
indicate that the data type does not look correct, and so Access can't
parse.
