Query that gives all lines of a Sales order; just need a couple li

How can I pull Sales data that gives me a specific criteria I choose?
Data has a category called 123X on a sales order, and i want all those with
the X.
But Data has a category 123Y that are on the same Sales order, and those
come up on my query also. The dollar amount with the X category should be
alot smaller than those with Y. Hope this is clear.
