Query Inventory

Need help creating a query to show current inventory.
How can I make the query (set a formula?) give me current
inventory? Lets say I have 25 of the same model TV all
different serial numbers. I send them out for
repair "out". (I have a field "in/out") Now, I get 5
back "in". I need Access to give me a current list of the
models and serial number that are still "out". The serial
numbers are listed on one field separated by commas.

Yes. By the up/down field, and the serial numbers are
listed in the S/N field.

Still not sure I understand.

If you had each S/N (Model) in its own Record, & you used
the "In/Out" or "up/down" field, just run a Totals Query
with the criterion of "In" or "Out".
