Query Export

Is there a general rule for exporting query results. Some queries the export
function is de-activated (greyed out). Some queries the Export function is
active. Is there a way to ensure the Export function is active for a query.

Perhaps you mean it is enabled for Select queries, and disabled for
Action queries (insert, update, delete).

Tom - Actually I noticed the export function was enabled after I saved the
query and opened/ran it a second time. The Export functioned seemed to be
disabled before I saved the query. May be the rule is the query must be
saved before the export function is enabled.
