Query by Form Problem

When I try using a form to select from a table drop down list for the Query
Criteria, I get "Enter Parameter Value". I have checked and re-checked the
Controls. This happens even with the Northwind Sample database when
following the "Office Online Assistant: Using parameters with queries and
reports" training session, and following the instructions to the letter.

I am running Access 2003 SP2 on Windows 2000 SP4 with the Rollup Update 1.

Any ideas?

Disregard the "you cant do this" message. It is SPAM (or worse), and has
been showing up all over the newsgroups.
