Is it possible to connect to an Oracle DB 8.1 using
Access as front end?

Yes.
Oracle has some data types that Access doesn't understand,
and the MS and Oracle ODBC drivers perform slightly differently,
but yes, you can query an Oracle database using Access as
a front end.

Thanks - I checked out Oracle's web site and found the
appropriate ODBC driver.
