Query a crosstab query

I am working on a new database... I have created my crosstab based on an
append query. So anytime I pull information in, it appends to my crosstab
(which I do want). From the information stored in the crosstab query, which
is:
Reason Code (row heading) and Period (column heading) The period information
is dollar amounts that pulls into the crosstab based on what I run. I want to
take this crosstab query, and create a new query... I want this query to
contain the information from my crosstab plus add the reason code
Descriptions. I've done so, by creating a make table query, but when I try
running different periods, the information doesn't turn out right. Does
anyone have any suggestions? Or do you need more info?

why dont you add the descriptions to the origional crosstab query

I cannot add the descriptions because... When the crosstab updates, it only
shows the descriptions that were used. I need to show all the descriptions,
not just the ones used.
