Queries on the fly

I have been given a great reference point for building queries on the fly,
which is http://www.fontstuff.com/access/index.htm

The examples on here are all using lists or combo boxes, what I would like
to do is use a text box for users to enter free text (single word) and the
query to search "any part of a field" in a single table.

Is there some code I can use to do this?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

sample called "CreateQueries2.mdb" which illustrates how to do this.

Hi Roger

Brilliant, that is exactly what I was looking for in your "Form 4" and I've
now added your website to my favourites list.

I will copy your example to my database when I'm at work tomorrow. Just one
point when I've tried your example I enter some search text and press "view
report" which then gives a pop-up requesting parameters. Should the report
base itself on the entered search text?
