Quattro Pro Converter for Excel/Office XP

I am trying to open some old Quattro Pro files in Excel,
the 'help' menu indicates that the 'WB1' file type is
supported in excel but may need a converter. I am unable
to find a converter for Office XP, only for excel 97. Any
suggestions?

I recently did this for someone, but I first had to open the files in QPro 8
and then save them as Excel files there. Is that an option for you - ie
someone having a copy of QPro available?

How many files are you talking about?

Unfortunaly I don't have or know anyone with QPro 8. I
know longer have my old version of Quattro Pro and am only
use MS products. The files are WB1, created in Quattro
Pro 5.0.

Keely did you get this worked out? I have the same problem and I have 250
files. Let me know if you found a solution. I have a 6.0 version which you
could have, I know it will allow you to open the .wb1 and then use them in
Excell 97 and perhaps 2000.
