Purchased a new computer - has Windows XP Home, using Outlook express. Cable modem. When I attempt to go to a INTERNET site such as USPS site to print a label - I might get there, but usually I receive a message that the page cannot be displayed. Or if I attempt to download any file from a site such as AVG I receive a message that IE explorer has reset the site. I have been to a Computer Guru on six occasions and finally been advised to re-format my hard-drive and reload Windows. Is it possible to just delete Internet Explorer and reload that first to see if it will correct the problem?
