QMS 330 Fuser or Epson C8000

Hi,
Can anyone help?
I have a Qms magicolor 330 (A3) printer which has dried toner on the
fuser roller. I have tried to remove this toner but to no avail. I did
look into replacing the fuser unit but got frightened off with the
cost!
Has anyone got any alternatives or refurbished units.
I was also told that the Epson C8000 color printer has the same fuser
unit, is this true?
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards . . . . Lee (my email is: (e-mail address removed) )

The epson fuser is simillar to the qms 330 fuser exept that it has an extra
paper exit chute.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your reply. I take it this means the epson would not be a
viable substitute. Do you know if there any other machines which use
the same fuser unit as the QMS 330.

Actualy if you remove the extra exit chute it will work fine. I even think
it will work with the chute still attached but I have not tried this yet.

Mechanical identical printers are:
- Xerox/tektronix phaser 780
- Tally T8204

I believe there are more manufacturers with this engine but I can't recall
them just now.
