Interesting problem, and the link info at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q309447 doesn't
offer a solution for *.asp type files. I can't look for text within an .asp
type file using the search function of Windows Explorer on a fully updated
XP-Pro (and that filetype isn't in the list shown for Q309447). Is there a
way? I have to do multiple searches for text within .asp files, lots of
those kind of files in a folder tree -- I'd surely think Explorer should do
it! Maybe a registry tweak or something?

Thanks, Wesley. Item 136 at Kellys was already set in the registry. The
VBScript indicated that the value alrady existed and that no changes were
made. Unfortunately, those 2 items did not allow me to search .asp type
files for text strings. But this free utility did:
http://www.mythicsoft.com/agentransack/Page.aspx?page=download and I like it
so much I put it on my Quick Launch bar!
