Q: MAPI error Sending attachments

Has any one experience an MAPI error while trying to send an attachment? We
are using the Navision Accounting Software. The program has a "send email"
option that we used to use in order to send reports from within Navision. We
are using Outlook 2000 and every time we launch the "send email" from
Navision we are getting an Outlook error message "The operation failed due to
network or other communication problems. Check your connections and try
again." and after clicking OK a second message pops up "MAPI is not working
properly". This happens only to few workstations not to all of them. Is the
removing of Outlook Express in any way related to the problem?

I found today that if you copy the MSMAPI32.OCX from the client
install folder of Navision to the WINNT\System32 folder of the client
and the register the file using regsvr32 the send mail proces starts
to work.
