Q for ALLEN BROWNE re: OpenTheReport

Hi Allen,

Greetings. I have a problem, hoping you can give me a hint.

I set up a report to use OpenTheReport last year. It had worked fine, many
times. Well, I haven't had to use the "set printer" option for a couple
months now, I would say. I just went to to set the printer, and I got this
message:

"unable to set printer
This report was hard-coded to used a specific printer at design time, and
can not be reassigned."

This is what I've tried:
-restarting the database
-searching for the error-wording in your abjprinter module
(which, of course, I didn't find, but you would know that)
-making a simple report using the wizard....on this report, "set Printer"
worked.

Do you have any hints for me as to what to look for in my report code that
would make it say it is hard-coded?

try to switch from specific printer to default printer setting in Page Setup
- Page tab settings for your report (while in Design view)
