Q: A7N8X Deluxe rev2 and Bios 1007

Hi

I just updated the bios to the latest 1007 from (I believe)1005. Well, I
cannot say I have updated it because the system no longer boots. :-(

I sometimes see nVidia's splash picture when the system starts, sometimes
see nothing. In either case, they system locks up soon.

Are there any ways I can go back to 1005?

I do not have any SATA drives. SATA is disabled by a jumper.

Thanks!

did you pull the CMOS jumper?..if not try that and see if you can enter the
BIOS and set up...almost sounds as if the Primary VGA has gone to the PCI
setting instead of AGP.

Yep... but thats less of a problem, 'cos it won't flash the wrong one 'cos
they are different sizes. (Or maybe it just warns you)
