q 310994 Set Up Boot discs for win xp [pro]

Ive d'loaded this program from MS web site; it requires you to
load it on to 6 separate floppies; however I can only get up to
3 of the 6; on 4th it tells me disc is in use by another process;
Ive tried different floppy, and checked background processes.
AV s/ware turned off whilst doing this.

Any clues please?

you must download the correct set ,i.e. if you do or do

not have sp1 installed and whether home or pro ,they are
not universal to all xps ,they are specific for the
version you have installed.
