I have received photo attachments to some emails recently. These photos
appear as ".jpg" files, but when I try to open them I get a window that
tells me they are PV8.Image and that Windows can not open it. How do I fis
this so I can view the photos's I have received?

The images apparently were created in a Ulead program in a proprietary
format. Ask your friend to save the images as .jpg's instead.

Someone apparently just changed the file extension to .jpg.

Doing so will not magically turn the file into a .jpg file. It must be saved
as such to begin with.
