PV function in excel

Karen

Here is my dillema...

My client would like to have a spreadsheet he created in excel brought
to the web. The programmer I hired is having a hard time finding the
formula/s which the PV function is derived from. Hopefully I am
relaying this correctly. The function in question is
=PV($C$57/12,$C$56*12,$C$47/12,0,0).

The programmer needs to take this information and recreate this in PHP
he is almost at the end of this thing, just stuck on this. Please
help if you can!!

Please let me know if this makes any sense or not!

Thanks,
Karen

If the programmer looks at HELP in Excel for the PV Worksheet function, he will
find the formula there.
