Hello everyone,
I have posted on here several times about this issue and have not received
any sort of help.
This is all very puzzling.........and I have had my ISP involved in this.
about a month ago, i was using a dialup connection to connect from my home
pc to my office pc. Never had any problems. About 2 weeks ago, I got dsl
at my house. Ever since then i have been unable to connect to my office pc
via remote desktop. I cannot ping the IP address, nor can i use netmeeting.
The ISP made sure there were no ports being blocked. My ISP is able to
connect to me remotely......... If I try to use a dialup from home...it
works, it is only when I use dsl. I have tried several different ways.
I've plugged my dsl directly into my laptop at home, i've opened up the
ports on my router at home, everything.......and I cannot get a connection.
Remember, my ISP is able to remotely connect.......so my office pc is setup
properly. but at home it tells me the client cannot connect and to make
sure that remote connections is enabled.
Does anyone out there have any ideas?
My ISP and myself are at a lose!
