Putting pictures into cells

I want to create a list of images including columns for: thumbnail image, filename, no of copies to print, print size, negative required, resolution required, cropping required, etc. I want the thumbnail image to be attached to a specified cell/row and to stay with the data in that row if I sort the data, resize the image, etc

My questions
1) How can I import my thumbnail images and their filenames, avoiding manual keying
2) How can I specify which cell each image is attached to, to ensure it stays with the correct row of data
 
You cannot attach graphics to cells. Your project is best done in Access

Perhaps "better" done in Access <g> - I can think of a half-dozen
database applications that are superior in most respects to Access, and
there are some dedicated image databases that I suspect would be better
than any of them.

Well said, JE.

Depending on mood, I find it amusing, laughable, surprising and
infuriating (among other emotions) that MS Access is seen as the
'default database' in the Excel newsgroups. Most Excel users I know
are denied the MS Access GUI application because of the licensing
situation in the corporate environment i.e. their employer won't pay
for a MS Access licence for non-development employees.
