Pulling My Hair Out With PCL

First, let me get this out of the way. Yes, I have read the PCL Tech.
Ref. Man. And I have searched through this and other groups on Google,
and have not found anything like what I'm looking for. Maybe I'm doing
something wrong in my research. I don't know. So, I appologize
profusely in advance if this question has already been asked.

I want to print a color raster image using PCL commands. The only
thing I've been able to do so far is black & white. What I have
basically is a color bitmap that I want to print directly to the
printer through PCL. I have the RGB of each of the pixels, and can
parse out the bitmap anyway I want. I just can't seem to get one dot
on the paper that's anything other than black. Can someone please
either tell me what I need to do or where I need to go to get the
answer that I need.

You state that you have read the PCL Technical Reference, but have you read
the "PCL 5 Color Technical Reference Manual"?

Ok. Well, I have not. I thought the PCL Tech Ref would have had that.
Can you tell me where I can get a copy by chance?
