Pulling data from other worksheets

Hi there,

I dont know if this is possible but heres my senario:-

I have a main register which used data from other worksheets, what
would like my main register to do is when someone enters a "Pipe spec
i.e. LL (and there is over 1000 different pipe specs) i would like th
next three cels to pull data from the pipespec worksheet i.e. cell C1
C2 & C3 and enter it into the main register. I dont know how excel ca
do this without creatintg a formula about a mile long??? using all 100
pipespecs within the formula.

It would be much appreciated if someone could let me know if this i
possible and if so, i would be very gratfull if you could give me
hand.

could you provide some more details. e.g. post some sample data (plain
text - no attachments please) and describe based on your example your
expected result
