did you try adding your password as admin on both the root and the sub, then giving the kids a admin password on *only* the sub?
| So, here is what I have.
|
www.mydomain.com/sundomain1 which is accessed by
| subdomain1.mydomain.com. When I go to publish it, I have
|
http://www.mydomain.com/subdomain1 and it works fine with
| the master username and password. But I want to be able
| to publish to the subdomain with a different username and
| password. Mainly, I don't want my kids messing around
| with the main website. So, I have tried both
|
www.mydomain.com/subdomain1 and subdomain1.mydomain.com
| with their ftp logins and that doesn't work. What I need
| to know is, without having Sharepoint setup on the
| server, how can I use Frontpage to allow my kids to
| publish their websites without them having access to the
| main website?
|
| Clear as mud? Hehe, btw, Thanks for the help
